ATLANTIC CITY, NJ - December 18, 2023 - On Friday, December 16th, under the glittering lights of Atlantic City's Showboat Hotel, Ashley Marie Myatt was crowned the 55th Miss Black America Queen.
The 29-year-old Detroit native and skilled veterinarian technician captivated judges with her talents, vision, and radiant grace, earning the coveted national title at this year's landmark pageant, celebrating
over five decades spotlighting Black excellence across America.
Myatt's passion for uplifting her community, paired with 9+ years’ experience caring for animals at shelters, nonprofits and private clinics propelled her above a field representing ambitious, service-minded Black women pursuing leadership in every arena.
